FTCC Training - AI for Project Management - 3H Workshop

1.1 Course Description

Specialisation: AI for Project Management Workshop — a 3-hour advanced-level, hands-on training by System in Motion.

The Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC), in collaboration with System in Motion, is pleased to invite you to an intensive practical workshop designed to transform the way you lead projects across their complete lifecycle. Developed by System in Motion and senior project leaders, this training equips project professionals to use Generative AI as a strategic co-pilot—not simply to automate tasks, but to improve foresight, decision-making, stakeholder alignment, and delivery outcomes.

Through structured, hands-on exercises and practical project scenarios, participants learn how to apply AI at the three critical stages of project delivery: Launch, Cruise, and Land.

Registration Deadline: Monday 16 November 2026 - 6:00 PM (UTC+7)

1.2 What You Will Learn

1. Launch — The Strategic Foundation

  • AI for stakeholder communication planning
  • AI-powered project kickoff and alignment
  • Creating clear project briefs, objectives, constraints, and expected outcomes
  • Using effective prompts to support planning and strategic decision-making

2. Cruise — Adaptive Control & Steering
Use AI to maintain control as project conditions evolve, helping teams respond quickly and effectively to change.

  • AI for project health dashboard design
  • AI for change-request impact analysis
  • AI for priority setting and resource realignment
  • Identifying dependencies, blockers, and delivery risks
  • Applying AI-supported reasoning to complex project challenges

3. Land — Flawless Delivery & Learning
Strengthen execution during the final stages of delivery and turn project experience into continuous improvement.

  • AI for final sprint triage and blocker resolution
  • AI for go-live communication cascades
  • AI for post-mortem analysis and process improvement
  • Capturing lessons learned and converting them into actionable improvements
  • Supporting smoother handovers, stakeholder updates, and project closure

1.3 Practical Approach

The training combines core Generative AI principles, project-specific prompting techniques, real-world use cases, and guided exercises. Participants will explore how to use AI responsibly in project environments while considering governance, quality, confidentiality, and team adoption.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to move beyond isolated AI experimentation and apply a structured approach to integrating AI into everyday project management workflows.

1.4 Who Should Attend?

  • Project and Programme Managers seeking to increase strategic impact across the project lifecycle
  • PMO Directors and Portfolio Managers looking for practical frameworks for governance, adaptation, and consistent delivery
  • Team Leads, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners aiming to improve team alignment, focus, delivery, and retrospectives
  • Corporate teams and innovation-focused professionals who want to build AI-enabled project capabilities

1.5 Key Outcomes

Participants will leave with practical methods to:

  • Improve project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication
  • Make faster, better-informed decisions during delivery
  • Adapt priorities and resources as conditions change
  • Resolve blockers and support successful go-lives
  • Build a culture of continuous learning and AI-enabled project excellence

Turn project management from administrative oversight into strategic leadership with AI. Eligible PMI-certified participants may self-report PDUs to PMI based on the course duration and relevance to their certification. Acceptance of PDUs is subject to PMI’s requirements and review.
