In the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), continuous education and collaboration are key to success. System In Motion, a consulting firm renowned for providing innovative AI solutions, recently co-hosted a two-day AI training session with long-term partner Pernod Ricard. This training, held on-site at the client’s company from May 21-22, 2024, focused on the fundamentals and advanced practices of generative AI, aiming to enhance participants’ understanding and application capabilities of AI technology.

AI Training Session Overview

The training program was initiated by the client from the top-down and aligned perfectly with our training framework and the client’s AI strategy. Following a preliminary assessment by both parties, we conducted two trial sessions and tailored practical cases for different departments based on client needs. The training was led by two senior experts: Olivier Wang, an account manager with over ten years of experience in system architecture and integration; and Ben Chen, a senior consultant with more than 14 years of experience in project management, process mapping, and digital delivery.

Training Program Design and Execution

On the first day of the training, Wang Zebin provided a comprehensive introduction to AI basics and their application in business processes, while Chen Zhijing drew upon his extensive project management background to facilitate a profound understanding of AI technology through practical, real-world scenarios. Despite some participants being unable to attend in person due to scheduling conflicts, they actively engaged in the training through an online conference, participating in discussions and exercises. On the second day, the focus turned to advanced AI applications and industry trends. Both instructors guided participants through strategies for implementing AI technology in their industries via case studies. The level of engagement from both on-site and remote participants was impressive, with many showing excitement for AI’s practical applications in their jobs. Participants from different departments effectively used the prompt techniques taught to address routine challenges, achieving expectational results.
